Background

Chris joined Chris MacKay Financial Planning, a member of the Plus4 group, in 2011 with five years’ experience in the financial services profession.

Prior to that, Chris had a number of senior roles in sales and customer service, and ran his own business.

A member of Financial Advice New Zealand and the TripleA Advisers Association, Chris also holds the National Certificate in Financial Services endorsed in Investment advice and Insurance advice.

Chris recognises that everyone’s needs are different, and one size does not fit all. He enjoys getting to know you so as he can help find the solution that best meets your needs.

A family man, married to Denise for over 30 years, they have two sons, who are now young adults and alumni of Otago University. Chris is active in his community, and his local Parish. He enjoys sport, and plays tennis at the Muritai Tennis Club, and is the Treasurer there.
